The Russian president has been invited to the country by his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, it said in a statement on Saturday. During the trip, Putin and Xi are expected to discuss bilateral relations, ways to further deepen strategic interaction between Moscow and Beijing, as well as exchange views on key international and regional issues, the statement read. The talks are set to conclude with a joint statement from the two leaders and the signing of various agreements between the Russian and Chinese governments. Putin will also meet with Chinese Premier Li Qiang to discuss trade and economic relations, according to the Kremlin. DETAILS TO FOLLOW
